Relationship with Reynolds

Monica welcomes people throughout her secluded village and forms a relationship with Reynolds despite the hostility of local suitors. When they harass him, she angrily proposes asking Miller to intervene, then stands beside Reynolds when Linley arrives and her parents evaluate whether the outsider will be accepted.
