Loysius is the senior Fiend who leads the Moon Lake Castle trial party. His experience helps restrain conflict among the candidates, but the castle's Spiritleech defenders turn his own multiple lives into a means of capture. (Chapters 468–481)

Biography

Arrival And Survival In The Infernal Realm

Loysius intervenes when Crompton threatens weaker candidates and organizes the trial group through the approach to Moon Lake Castle, including its fight against a black dragon. He recognizes too late that the castle is structured as a deathtrap. Wyrnessin's faction infects one of his bodies with a Spiritleech while preventing the other from escaping; rather than receiving a clean death, Loysius is forced back under enemy control, leaving the leader who tried to guide the mission alive but unable to direct his own fate.
