Biography

Clayde's final protector

Kaiser repeatedly placed himself between Linley and King Clayde, using his greatsword to delay the Dragonformed attacker through Fenlai's collapse and the flight north. He refused Linley's attempted bribe and continued escorting the royal family even when victory was impossible. Once Linley captured and killed Clayde, Kaiser chose not to sacrifice the remaining refugees and accepted the Ecclesiastical Tribunal's permission to withdraw. Appearance

Kaiser is a powerful knight who fights with a heavy greatsword and red battle-qi. (Chapters 154–155)

He is steadfast, realistic about unequal battles, and loyal to his charge even after money and terror offer reasons to abandon him. (Chapters 154–155, 158, 163–165)
