Biography

The Anarchic Lands And The Baruch Realm

Johann receives Linley with admiration and oversees the contest for Nina's hand, initially preparing to choose Blumer despite her love for Wharton. A direct instruction from the War God reverses the decision, and Johann publicly selects Wharton while continuing to host duels and diplomacy around the imperial court. Later, Linley confronts him over Reynolds's disappearance and Prince Julin's role. The War God's talisman confirms Linley's authority, forcing Johann to obey and leaving the emperor physically collapsed by his inability to protect his own brother from the consequences.
