Hemmers is a battle-hungry earth expert famed for immense physical strength and defense. He first tests Linley Baruch as a rival and later becomes one of the commanders who openly recognizes Linley's transformation on the Planar Battlefield. (Chapters 667–690, 704–709, 726, 757)

Biography

The Planar Battlefield

Hemmers clashes with Linley because a powerful opponent and a commander badge both appeal to him, relying on bodily force that few Highgods can match. Their later battlefield encounters turn rivalry into blunt respect: Hemmers repeatedly seeks combat, notices how quickly Linley's power is growing, and helps validate the danger Linley represents to other commanders. At the final corridor he loudly treats Linley as an expert approaching Paragon-like standing, remaining more interested in the scale of the battle than in courtly restraint. Appearance and personality

Hemmers has wild, messy golden hair and golden eyes. Loud, direct, and eager to test strength personally, he respects demonstrated power and does not hide either his excitement or his changing judgment of Linley. (Chapters 667–690, 704–709)

Hemmers is an earth Highgod with extraordinary physical power and defense. He became a Sovereign's Emissary while still a Demigod and received a soul-protecting Sovereign artifact; raw speed is a comparative weakness when opponents choose to flee. (Chapters 667–690, 704–709, 726)
