Forhan

Forhan is the golden-haired Third Elder of the Azure Dragon clan, the Grand Elder's son, and Emanuel's father. Beneath his public appeals to clan unity, resentment of Linley Baruch drives him to betray Linley's location to the eight opposing clans. (Chapters 574–609)

Biography

The Four Divine Beasts Clan

Forhan presents himself as a cautious elder concerned with rules and unity, but Linley's inherited ring, rising status, and defeat of Emanuel feed his jealousy and anger. He secretly leaks Linley's mission route to the eight great clans, enabling an ambush in which Delia nearly dies. Forhan denies the accusation until Dunnington hypnotizes him; under compulsion he admits both his fear that Linley will eclipse his position and his desire to avenge his son's lost clone. The Grand Elder immediately kills him and condemns every clone of the traitor. (Chapters 574–576, 588–609)

Forhan is a golden-haired senior clansman who maintains a disciplined public mask. His stated concern for the clan conceals status anxiety, paternal resentment, and a willingness to expose fellow members to enemies while continuing to deny responsibility. (Chapters 574–576, 588–609)

Abilities and cultivation

As the Azure Dragon clan's Third Elder, Forhan is a Highgod and possesses the clan's inherited divine-beast advantages, including access to its innate ability. His final defeat is judicial rather than martial: the Grand Elder executes him once the confession establishes treason. (Chapters 574–576, 607–609)
