Biography

Paragon at the Overgod hunt

Dunnington first appears as the Chaotic Sea's foremost expert beneath its Sovereign and an old acquaintance of Beirut. During the search for the Red Caltrop Diamond, he entered the Okerlund Plane as the Chief Sovereign of Destruction's representative. Linley chose him as the most reliable Paragon with whom to coordinate, and Dunnington notified their patron when Augusta's projection attempted to influence the mortal contest. Dunnington is introduced as a strange-looking man whose presence gives Linley an unusual, difficult-to-read feeling. (Chapter 608)

He is restrained, perceptive, and willing to coordinate with peers while maintaining the rules that keep Sovereigns from openly coercing Paragons. (Chapters 608, 748–751, 755–758)
