Biography
The Sculpture, Revenge, And Fenlai'S Fall
Maia carefully studies Awakening From the Dream and treats Linley's refusal to sell it as an artist's legitimate judgment rather than a failed transaction. When magical beasts destroy Fenlai, he organizes the rescue of the Proulx Gallery's most important works and, at Linley's request, brings Alice and Rowling with the evacuation convoy. In the following years he cares for the two women, recognizes Alice's ability as a manager, and sends her to establish the gallery in Baruch City. (Chapters 99–111, 151, 327)
