Biography

The amiable supervisor

Count Perry cultivated a public image as an unassuming, generous noble with influence among Basil's old families, yet secretly served the Radiant Church as a regional supervisor. Linley and Zassler targeted him for intelligence about the Church's prisoner convoy. Their operation ended with Perry's death, but the Church continued its route because Stehle trusted Perry's faith and assumed he could not have betrayed it. (Chapters 198–201, 203)
