Biography

Awakening the Dragonblood lineage

Named by Wharton and Nina before his birth, Cena grows into a calm and meticulous youth who accompanies Taylor and Sasha to Mt. Blackraven. Because his inherited Dragonblood concentration is insufficient for a natural transformation, he agrees to Linley's dangerous activation method, eats Blueheart Grass, and drinks fresh dragon blood under close supervision. Cena watches Linley subdue three Saint-level dragons with concern rather than blind bravado, then encourages the hesitant Sasha by tasting the Blueheart Grass first and describing it as refreshing. His conduct makes him an active older cousin in the group, not merely a child present for the family's restoration project. (Chapters 303–308)
