Biography

Guardian of the Yulan Empire

Catherine, publicly known as the High Priest, has guided the Yulan Empire for millennia while training disciples such as Dixie. She meets Linley as a Deity-level power, participates in negotiations over the continent's political division, and accepts Beirut's warning that mortal states and divine conflicts cannot be handled as though raw prestige guarantees safety. (Chapters 313–380)

Yulan's divine upheaval

When experts from the Gebados Prison Plane destabilize Yulan, Catherine coordinates with the War God, Dylin, Cesar, and Linley rather than isolating her empire. She survives the succession of stronger arrivals and later remains part of the wider Yulan community whose members reach the higher planes, her authority transformed from solitary national patron to one veteran among greater powers. (Chapters 409–449)

Catherine has a graceful figure, flowing hair, and conceals her face behind a green mask. (Chapters 334–351)

Personality

She is controlled, politically pragmatic, and protective of the order she built, though willing to cooperate when Yulan faces threats beyond any one empire. (Chapters 369–423)
