Brodie

Brodie is a God whose wife, Vidonica, is seized by the Lotte tribe's chief. His discovery of an Overgod talisman gives him the means to take revenge, but also begins a pursuit that forces the couple to disappear. (Chapters 737–753)

Biography

The Overgod Mission

After Allott takes Vidonica, Brodie survives with his grief and a promise of revenge. He finds the Red Caltrop Diamond and discovers that it can heal him, protect his soul, and consume attackers. Its power lets him kill bandits, fuse a darkness Highgod spark, return to Lotte, and kill Allott. The victory immediately creates a larger danger as stronger pursuers hunt the talisman and everyone attached to it. (Chapters 737–743)

Brodie answers the hunt with misdirection. He sends a divine clone carrying a false diamond as a decoy; that clone is killed while his original body escapes with Vidonica. The pair pass through Okerlund, hide the genuine talisman inside an interspatial ring swallowed by a snowlion, and vanish from the confirmed narrative rather than allowing the object to remain traceable to them. (Chapters 745–753)

Appearance and personality

Brodie first appears disheveled, with loose hair and scarlet, grief-stricken eyes. His devotion to Vidonica hardens into patient vengeance, while his later decoy scheme shows that desperation has not displaced his caution. (Chapters 737–746)

Abilities and cultivation

Brodie begins as a God and later fuses with a darkness-element Highgod spark. The talisman temporarily supplies extraordinary healing, soul protection, and a devouring response, but his cultivation is based on an external divine spark rather than independent advancement. (Chapters 737–743)
