Bonin

Bonin is Molde's son and the obsessive former husband of Diana. His attempt to possess her destroys Olivier's family, and his retaliation against Linley Baruch's intervention costs him his strongest divine clone. (Chapters 721–726)

Biography

The Overgod Mission

Bonin insists that he changed for Diana, gave her everything, and even borrowed from his father, but treats those sacrifices as ownership after she leaves and forms a family with Olivier. He takes Diana back and sends killers after Olivier and their sons, causing Leya's death and separating the survivors. When Linley reunites the family, Bonin attacks with a black spear and Sovereign power, then tries a false surrender and underground escape. He is captured, and Olivier kills his most powerful divine clone, while another clone survives with his hatred unresolved. (Chapters 721–726)

Appearance and personality

Bonin's black energy, bloodshot eyes, and savage expression accompany a possessive, self-justifying temperament. He describes devotion in material terms but answers Diana's independence with abduction and murder, then resorts to deception when direct violence fails. (Chapters 721–725)

Abilities and cultivation

Bonin is a Six Star Fiend who fights with a black spear and can draw on a drop of Sovereign's Might. He can move through the ground to escape, but Linley suppresses him and prevents the maneuver. (Chapters 723–725)

• Diana: Bonin regards his former sacrifices as a claim over her; Diana hates him for breaking his promise and destroying her new family. (Chapters 721–724)
