Biography

Conflict and settlement with Linley

Bakwill mobilized red-robed elders and clan troops after Sequeira provoked Linley, first ordering Boslo to test and, if possible, kill the unfamiliar expert. Once Linley's strength became clear, Bakwill shifted from force to negotiation and accepted Linley's service as a red-robed elder in settlement. He reduced an initial ten-thousand-year term to one hundred years and later released Linley early on Mosi's order. (Chapters 542, 545–548, 551, 554)
