Biography

Service at the Sovereign's palace

Arthurs meets Bailey after the latter obtains an Abyssal Fruit, identifies himself as an old acquaintance, and escorts him to the Sovereign's palace to await a summons. When Linley and Bebe also reach the summit, Arthurs recognizes the significance of their success and reports that the Sovereign has not yet returned, carrying out his gatekeeping duties without pretending to control her schedule. (Chapters 645–650)

He remains among the palace attendants during Linley and Bebe's audience with the Chief Sovereign of Death. Rather than intervene in the visitors' petition, he watches the Sovereign's decision and their attempted departure, preserving the formal boundary between messenger and ruler. (Chapters 650–651)

Arthurs is a silver-haired man. (Chapter 645)

Personality

He is calm, observant, and ceremonially correct, showing familiarity toward Bailey while remaining deferential to the Sovereign. (Chapters 645–651)
