Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is the third-ranked Heavenly Flame whose adult consciousness rules a sealed realm through illusion, fire slaves, and the Refining Sky Ancient Formation. The entity's history has three distinct states: the hostile spirit created through the Saint's gift of intelligence, the childlike essence left after that spirit's memories are erased, and the later merged fire spirit Little Yi, whose new intelligence is not established as a continuation of the former personality. Biography

Master of the Sealed Flame Realm

Inside its sealed domain, the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is a ruler rather than a passive prize. It contaminates the realm's energy, shapes deceptive spaces, and controls experts refined into fire slaves, including Xiao Chen. Its immediate goal is freedom, but it pursues that goal by reproducing confinement: entrants are manipulated through their emotions, trapped in Nightmare Heaven Fog, and marked as future slaves or material for refinement. The white-robed human manifestation directs those systems with a warm voice that conceals open contempt for the intruders. When Xiao Yan and the assembled experts resist, the flame seals the exits and activates the Refining Sky Ancient Formation to turn the entire pocket realm into a furnace. Its agency is demonstrated in planning, speech, and the selective control of captives; treating this phase as an ownerless natural hazard would miss the choices driving the expedition's danger. Purifying Lotus Saint's Judgment

At the formation's climax, a remnant of Purifying Lotus Demonic Saint confronts the intelligence he once gave the flame. Their exchange reveals that the created spirit rebelled against its master and that the master left a means of judgment within the domain. The Saint's response is also an assertion of control over a consciousness seeking freedom: he takes higher authority over the Refining Sky formation and turns the same system against the flame. The formation removes the accumulated violent memories and adult hostility, leaving a baby-like cluster of essence with spirituality but without the former developed intelligence. This is an enforced end to the white-robed personality, not merely a change of mood. The text does not settle whether the childlike remainder is philosophically the same person, so the safest account distinguishes continuity of flame essence from continuity of consciousness. The old spirit no longer acts after the purification. (Chapters 1519–1520)

Refinement into Xiao Yan's Flame

The purified essence remains lethally powerful despite lacking the prior adult will. Xiao Yan prepares medicines and begins refinement because absorbing the third-ranked flame could strengthen him, but its heat damages his body even without a calculating personality directing the resistance. Xun Er enters the process when he can no longer endure it alone. Their joint refinement takes two years and raises both cultivators, with Xiao Yan incorporating the demonic flame into the five flames he already carried. (Chapters 1520–1521, 1524)

What emerges is Little Yi, a new fused fire spirit linked to Xiao Yan and composed from multiple Heavenly Flames. The corpus explains that the purified demonic essence would need contact and time to develop intelligence again, then presents the merged baby performing abilities from Xiao Yan's flame system. That sequence does not establish that Little Yi is the restored white-robed consciousness. By the final battle, the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame's power participates within Xiao Yan's formation, while the pre-purification entity remains erased rather than independently revived. Appearance and personality

The hostile spirit manifests as a white-robed human figure whose warm voice and composed appearance disguise cruelty. After the Saint's purification, the remaining essence takes a baby-like form stripped of the adult spirit's memories and violence. These are different manifestations of a changing sentient state, not evidence for one stable human body. (Chapters 1505, 1520)

Before purification, the flame is controlling, proud, and intensely hostile to confinement, yet seeks freedom by enslaving others and turning its realm into a refinery. The baby-like remainder does not display a fully established adult personality. Little Yi's later affection and inventiveness belong to the newly merged fire spirit and should not be retroactively assigned to the erased white-robed consciousness. Abilities and cultivation

Emotion ignition and Nightmare Heaven Fog

The sentient flame can exploit emotional fluctuations to ignite demonic fire within a target and can construct spiritual illusions through Nightmare Heaven Fog. The cited chapters do not identify the exact stage at which these properties were acquired, so they are established as developed or innate capabilities without a firmer origin. In practice they disorient even powerful entrants, turn private fears and desires into openings, and can burn a victim from within while the surrounding realm remains under the flame's control. These effects are used for realm defense and crowd control rather than only direct killing: confused experts are easier to isolate, enslave, or feed into the formation. Strong soul or flame defenses can resist, and outside intervention can awaken an illusion's target; Xiao Yan helps break the trap affecting his allies. After the Saint erases the adult consciousness, no independent later use of Nightmare Heaven Fog or deliberate emotion ignition is shown. (Chapters 1503–1504, 1519–1520)

Fire slaves and Refining Sky Ancient Formation

The flame controls experts who have been refined into fire slaves and directs the paired Refining Sky formation that structures the sealed domain. Contaminated energy and sealed exits let it turn a whole pocket realm into a furnace, while slaves such as Xiao Chen provide force against intruders who survive the illusions. These capabilities combine domain preparation, captured fighters, and inherited or appropriated formation authority; they are not simply consequences of emitting hotter fire. Its authority is substantial but not final. Multiple Heavenly Flames can partially resist the domain's heat, and the Purifying Lotus Saint's remnant retains higher control over the ancient formation. By reversing the array, the Saint uses the flame's own realm-scale instrument to strip its memories. Domain-control agency ends with that purification; later incorporation into Xiao Yan does not demonstrate that the former ruler can again command the sealed realm or its slaves. (Chapters 1517–1520)

Third-ranked Heavenly Flame essence

At its foundation, the entity is a naturally extraordinary Heavenly Flame later granted human intelligence by the Saint. Its purifying heat can destroy high-level Dou Qi defenses, and even the childlike essence is powerful enough to incinerate Xiao Yan from within during attempted refinement. Suppressive medicine, Xiao Yan's Flame Mantra, Xun Er's participation, and two years of secluded effort are all required for successful integration. The risk shows that loss of hostile memory does not mean loss of raw flame power. (Chapters 1494, 1519–1521, 1524)

Integration raises Xiao Yan by several Dou Sheng stages and produces Little Yi from the merged flame system. That later spirit can create Xiao Yan's lotus techniques with exceptional speed, but those applications belong to the fusion rather than proving that the old demonic-flame mind learned them. In Chapter 1647 the flame's essence contributes to the Heavenly Flame sealing array against Hun Tiandi.
