Zenon Myrianda
Zenon Myrianda is the Evolari Paragon who commands the military training camp and later emerges as Anorah's absent father and leader of a fragment-bearer sanctuary. Curiosity first draws him to Atticus; devotion to Solvath later turns that alliance into betrayal and regret.
Biography
Curious colonel and military ally
Zenon visits the recruit trial because Atticus challenges everything an Evolari considers settled. He rejects Voren's complaint that a Paragon recruit is unfair, arguing that anyone unable to stop Atticus has no practical answer, and interprets the destruction of the mountain as a deliberate message rather than rule-breaking. Their first conversation ends with Zenon asking for friendship, beginning an alliance based on curiosity and respect for strength. (Chapters 975–984)
Zenon commands during the Zorvan assault, stares through the prison orb's release despite injury to his eyes, and later fights beside Atticus, Magnus, and Aric after Eldorian transformation gives them shared racial powers. He accepts Atticus's leadership because survival and change matter more than offended procedure, though he retains independent judgment and a scientist's interest in new systems. (Chapters 1038–1279)
In the Third Crown, Zenon reveals himself as Anorah's father and leader of the Alliance of the Chosen. He claims he abandoned her to build a sanctuary, free bearers from fragments, and restore his wife, but the Temple of Origins actually serves Solvath's accumulation. He allows Tia's extraction and tries to use Anorah's trust to influence Atticus; when Solvath's war exposes the promised redemption as monstrous, Zenon renounces the being he followed and apologizes to his daughter before the Spirit King's tide erases him. (Chapters 1719–1736)
Appearance and personality
Zenon wears an ornate midnight-blue colonel's uniform and initially combines a hardened exterior with an intrigued smile and golden, sword-like gaze. Later he adopts a benevolent chosen-leader presentation. He is curious, adaptable, authoritative, paternal but self-justifying, and ultimately capable of regret.
Abilities, bloodlines, and will
Zenon is a strong Paragon and Evolari, a race that values adaptation and change. He exerts crushing aura without looking at a target, fights in the Zorvan war, and later possesses multiple fragment-derived abilities and Eldorian traits including dragon wings. His exact fragment count and complete named technique set are not itemized. The Spirit King's Crown-level control immobilizes and erases him, exceeding every demonstrated defense. (Chapters 975–984, 1266–1279, 1719–1736)
