Biography

The forbidden inheritance

Yun Xiang returns to the endangered clan with Yun Shang and stands as its most promising adult successor. When the girl's profound veins appear ruined, he agrees to receive her rare purple Profound Handle through the Forbidden Blood Ritual, accepting the clan elders' argument that concentrating its dwindling hope in him is necessary for survival. Yun Che forcibly stops the transfer. (Chapters 1585–1589)

Xiang initially resists Yun Che's interference because it appears to destroy the clan's last path forward, but Yun Che heals Yun Shang and soon proves the gulf between them. A single expert from Nine Lights Heavenly Palace overwhelms Xiang, while Yun Che destroys the invading force and leaves the young clan chief kneeling in shock and gratitude. (Chapters 1589–1592)

Yun Xiang is proud, dutiful, and shaped by the desperation of a persecuted clan. His willingness to accept Yun Shang's Profound Handle is morally compromised but framed as obedience to a survival plan rather than personal cruelty; decisive proof changes his hostility into reverence. Abilities and cultivation

At about five thousand years of age, Yun Xiang is an eighth-level Divine Sovereign whose talent exceeds Yun Ting's and gives him a chance of reaching the Divine Master Realm.
