Ye Guying

Ye Guying is the Ninth Elder of Sun Moon Divine Hall and a senior protector accompanying Ye Xinghan.

Biography

Retreat from Frozen Cloud

Ye Guying accompanies Ye Xinghan during Sun Moon Divine Hall's occupation of Frozen Cloud Immortal Palace. When an unknown master appears to protect Yun Che's people, Guying recognizes the danger more quickly than his companions; he intervenes to keep Ye Shuran from touching lethal ice flames and prioritizes getting the young master away from a confrontation they cannot safely judge. (Chapters 669–675)

The apparent master is later revealed as part of Yun Che's deception, and Guying appears again at the Devil Sword Conference when the events surrounding the disguise are discussed. The narrative does not record a separate death for him or establish where he is during the later destruction of Sun Moon Divine Hall, leaving his ultimate fate unconfirmed. (Chapters 675 and 804)

Appearance and personality

Guying is cautious, alert, and more willing than his arrogant companions to respond to an unfamiliar threat. His restraint is practical rather than merciful: he protects Sun Moon personnel and preserves Ye Xinghan's escape. (Chapters 669–675)

Abilities and cultivation

Ye Guying is a late-stage Monarch at the seventh level of the Sovereign Profound Realm. His strength and reactions let him interrupt a companion's fatal mistake, but he considers the mysterious ice-flame user too dangerous to challenge directly. (Chapters 669–675)
