Yan Wu

Yan Wu is Yan Tianxiao’s eighty-seventh daughter, the Yama Princess, and one of the strongest heirs of the Yama Realm.

Biography

From Yama princess to imperial blade

Yan Wu meets Yun Che without fear after his destruction of the Burning Moon Realm. She supports summoning the Yama Ancestors and watches Yun Che suppress the realm’s devil skeletons and ancient powers, evidence that resistance would be ruinous. When the Yama Realm submits, she converts family loyalty into service under the new northern ruler rather than pursuing a hopeless vendetta. (Chapters 1675–1680)

She fights through the western war and survives the devastation of the Yama forces. Grieving openly after the victory, she vows that the Yama Devils will rebuild and become Emperor Yun’s sharpest loyal blade. Chi Wuyao later entrusts her with securing the Abyss of Nothingness, confirming her continuing command role. (Chapters 1809, 1858, and 1978)

Appearance and personality

Yan Wu is tall, dark-clad, and corpse-pale, with black eyes and a severe Yama presence. She is courageous, direct, and disciplined enough to convert grief into a long-term promise of reconstruction. (Chapters 1675–1677 and 1858)

Abilities and cultivation

She is a powerful darkness cultivator of the Yama lineage and can command Yama devil power and troops. Yun Che’s control over the Yama Ancestors and Bone Sea makes clear that her inherited authority cannot oppose his transformed darkness arts. (Chapters 1675–1680)
