Yan Wancang
Yan Wancang is the mild-spoken master of the Flame God Realm’s Vermillion Bird Sect and one of the three leaders who pursue the ancient horned dragon.
Biography
A cautious Flame God leader
Yan Wancang accompanies Huo Rulie and Yan Juehai into the Snow Song Realm to seek Mu Xuanyin’s help against the ancient horned dragon. He repeatedly tries to restrain Huo Rulie’s temper because a conflict with the Snow Song Realm King would destroy their purpose, then participates in the campaign and witnesses both Mu Xuanyin’s apparent sacrifice and Yun Che’s extraordinary growth. After Huo Poyun’s death, Wancang remains one of the grief-stricken leaders of a Flame God Realm that has lost its king and Golden Crow future. Yun Che brings Feng Xue’er to them as a complete Phoenix inheritor, and Wancang helps receive the possibility that the realm’s divine-flame legacy can continue. His latest role is stewardship, not a new personal advancement. (Chapter 1970)
Appearance and personality
Yan Wancang has a fair, youthful-looking face, tall build, and an unusually mild, calm presence for a fire sect master. He is diplomatic, patient, and often forced to mediate between Huo Rulie’s impulses and stronger outside powers. (Chapters 999–1002)
Abilities and cultivation
He is a Divine Master-level fire cultivator and master of the Vermillion Bird inheritance. He can participate in a Divine Master hunt, but the ancient horned dragon and Mu Xuanyin’s peak power stand beyond his ability to control. (Chapters 999–1007 and 1058–1067)
