Xing Ling is the head guard assigned to Jasmine, the Heavenly Slaughter Star God, within the Star God Realm.
Biography
Guard of the Heavenly Slaughter Star God
Xing Ling receives Yun Che upon his arrival in the Star God Realm and serves as the formal intermediary between the visitor and Jasmine. Although he carries the rank and dignity of a Star Guard commander, his exchanges with Jasmine and Caizhi show the caution of a subordinate who knows how dangerous and unpredictable both sisters can be. (Chapters 1257–1260)
His institutional loyalty ultimately places him on the Star God Realm's side during Xing Juekong's sacrificial plot. Xing Ling dies in the ceremony's collapse, one of the attendants swept away as Yun Che resists and the Evil Infant's awakening destroys the realm's assembled power. (Chapters 1328–1336)
Appearance and personality
Xing Ling is tall and handsome, with sword-like brows and bright, starry eyes. He is disciplined and respectful, but visibly wary around the Star God sisters whose tempers and authority far exceed his own. (Chapters 1257–1260)
Abilities and cultivation
As head of the Heavenly Slaughter Star Guards, Xing Ling is an elite Star God Realm profound practitioner and commander. His position does not place him on the level of a true Star God, and he cannot survive the forces unleashed during the sacrificial ceremony. (Chapters 1257 and 1336)
