Sikong Du

Sikong Du is a senior Inner Palace disciple of Blue Wind Profound Palace who becomes an early ally of Yun Che.

Biography

An ally in the Inner Palace

Sikong Du is present when Yun Che challenges the Inner Palace's established hierarchy, watching him break Feng Yue's defense and recognizing that the new disciple is far stronger than his nominal cultivation suggests. When Murong Yi attempts to interfere with the new disciples' examination, Sikong Du steps forward on Yun Che's behalf despite the danger of opposing a more powerful ranked disciple. (Chapters 129–132)

His intervention helps secure Yun Che's place during a period when most Inner Palace disciples view the newcomer with hostility or disbelief. Sikong Du later meets Yun Che again amid Blue Wind's wartime suffering and receives medicine from him before Yun Che departs, but the story does not trace his life beyond that reunion. (Chapters 132 and 648)

Appearance and personality

Sikong Du is straightforward and protective, willing to confront unfair interference rather than merely observe it. He also shows enough judgment to revise his view of Yun Che as the latter reveals his strength. (Chapters 129–132)

Abilities and cultivation

At his introduction, Sikong Du is at the tenth level of the True Profound Realm and ranks thirty-ninth on the Heavenly Profound List. That makes him a capable Inner Palace combatant, although he remains below Murong Yi and the palace's highest-ranked disciples. (Chapters 129–132)
