Qu Fengyi
Qu Fengyi is the former Sovereign of the Seas and ruler of Supreme Ocean Palace, one of the Profound Sky Continent’s Four Sacred Masters.
Biography
Sacred Master, fall, and quiet life
Qu Fengyi presides over the Devil Sword Conference with the dignity of a Sacred Master, joining the other three leaders in pursuing the sword’s promised secret. Her willingness to exploit Yun Che and participate in attacks against him exposes the self-interest beneath the Sacred Grounds’ public mission. When Xuanyuan Wentian turns on the gathering, she is left nearly dead and can no longer demand rescue as a right. (Chapters 772, 798–809, and 846–912)
Yun Che nevertheless allows Qu Fengyi to survive. After recovering, she seals the memories of her former life, including its honors, crimes, and grievances, and lives peacefully with Zi Ji. On meeting Yun Che years later she bows in gratitude based on what her husband has told her, while Zi Ji regards her unburdened life as their happiest period. (Chapters 912–918 and 1888)
Appearance and personality
As Sovereign of the Seas, Qu Fengyi wears blue and projects a noble, ocean-like pressure that makes an entire palace rise. Her early manner is cold and remote; after sealing her memories she becomes openly dependent on and affectionate toward Zi Ji, no longer shaped by the pride of office. (Chapters 798–800 and 1888)
Abilities and cultivation
Qu Fengyi is a peak Sovereign Profound expert associated with ocean profound power and among the strongest humans of her era. Jasmine and Xuanyuan Wentian each demonstrate the hard ceiling of that status by overwhelming Sacred Master power with ease. (Chapters 772, 798–809, and 912)
