Long Er
Long Er is one of the five Venerable Withered Dragons awakened as the Dragon God Realm's final reserve of ancient power.
Biography
Awakening and extinction
Long Er leaves hibernation knowing that he and the other Withered Dragons have only seven days of life after awakening. He dismisses fame as irrelevant to beings already standing at the end of their lifespan and enters the western regions' war as an ancient guardian of the Dragon God bloodline. (Chapters 1826–1827)
Yun Che's Dragon God soul suppresses Long Er and forces him to kneel despite his accumulated power. As the Dragon God forces are exterminated, he pleads that their shared inheritance should earn mercy for the remaining race. Yun Che refuses, orders Yan One to finish him, and Long Er's head and voice are annihilated by a single blow. (Chapters 1855–1857)
Appearance and personality
Long Er's body is withered by age and prolonged hibernation. He does not fear his own approaching death, but the extinction of his descendants breaks his composure and drives him to plead with the enemy. (Chapters 1826 and 1857)
Abilities and cultivation
Long Er is an apex dragon cultivator whose preserved strength surpasses ordinary contemporary Dragon Gods for a brief final period. His awakening is limited to seven days, and the hierarchy of dragon souls leaves him unable to resist Yun Che's superior inheritance. (Chapters 1826–1827 and 1855)
