Helian Peng

Helian Peng is the younger brother of Helian patriarch Helian Kuang and an ally of Duke Huai’s faction during the Yun Family succession crisis.

Biography

The guest who advances a coup

Peng enters the Yun Family gathering as an ostensibly honored guest, using false praise of Yun Xinyue and comparisons with Helian talent to feed the great elder’s ambition. He then supports the proposal to remove Yun Qinghong and promotes a succession favorable to Duke Huai. His smiles and claims of neutrality conceal coordination with the same faction that arranged the attack on Xiao Yun and Number Seven Under Heaven. (Chapters 512–519)

Yun Che’s Profound Handle Soul Search exposes the conspiracy and strips Peng’s public arguments of credibility. He remains aligned with Duke Huai through the broader conflict, but the narrative does not separately record his execution or survival after the faction’s defeat, so his ultimate fate cannot be stated more precisely. Appearance and personality

Helian Peng has narrow triangular eyes and a hoarse voice, frequently wearing a false smile while provoking others. He is calculating, contemptuous, and most comfortable influencing another family’s dispute from the position of a guest. (Chapters 512–519)

Abilities and cultivation

He is a senior Guardian Family profound practitioner whose aura and status command attention in the Yun household. His principal demonstrated strength is political manipulation; the Profound Handle’s ability to expose memories bypasses that advantage. (Chapters 512–520)
