Biography

Mistress and final succession

Gong Yuxian accepts Xia Qingyue at twelve, personally tempers her body, and watches her rare constitution surpass ordinary cultivation restrictions. When Chu Yuechan returns pregnant, Yuxian upholds the Asgard’s laws but does not forcibly cripple her: Yuechan chooses to disperse the Frozen Cloud Arts and asks to leave. Yuxian later makes this distinction clear to Yun Che when he attacks the sect in anger. (Chapters 245, 284, and 320–323)

During the Sacred Ground attack on Frozen Cloud Asgard, Yuxian is mortally wounded. She recognizes Yun Che as the sect’s savior, gives him her final command and the Frozen Cloud Celestial Soul, and entrusts the Asgard’s future to him. Her body is placed in an ice coffin beside the former mistress, ending a life spent preserving the sect. (Chapters 660–664)

Appearance and personality

Though over one hundred seventy, Gong Yuxian appears only thirty or forty, with ice-like features, a snow-trimmed dress, and a severe gaze. She is proud and tradition-bound, but her final choices show clear judgment and willingness to entrust the sect to an unconventional successor. (Chapters 284 and 661–664)

Abilities and cultivation

Yuxian entered the Emperor Profound Realm decades before Yun Che’s arrival and is a master of Frozen Cloud Arts, ice lotuses, and ribbon combat. Yun Che can pressure her only after his own extraordinary growth, while Sacred Ground invaders remain strong enough to inflict fatal wounds. (Chapters 320–323 and 660–664)
