Dimensional Belt
The Dimensional Belt is a magical storage item Eryk uses to keep small supplies accessible.
History
Salvaged equipment
After defeating a summoner, Eryk takes the man’s elaborate black utility belt, which has six small sewn-in pouches. Later, when Eryk tries to place the summoner’s belongings into his dimensional space, something resists the transfer; he suspects the belt may be responsible and stops rather than risk another backlash. (Chapters 178–179)
Field use
Eryk later refers to his dimensional belt as a place to store potions. He considers it less secure than his dimensional space but useful because companions can access its contents if he is incapacitated. The text does not explain the belt’s full storage capacity or confirm whether its six pouches are themselves dimensional. (Chapters 323, 343)
Abilities and properties
- Eryk uses the belt to store potions for quick access. (Chapter 343)
- The belt’s storage nature is suggested by its name and Eryk’s inability to store the summoner’s belongings in his own dimensional space, but its mechanics are not fully described. (Chapters 178, 180)
Ownership and custody
| Holder or custodian | Relationship to the item |
|---|---|
| The summoner | Wears the black utility belt before his death. (Chapter 178) |
| Eryk | Takes the belt among the summoner’s equipment and later uses a dimensional belt to carry potions. The text does not explicitly confirm that these mentions refer to the same belt. (Chapters 178, 343) |
