Fire Refinement Star Cauldron

The Fire Refinement Star Cauldron is the Tribulation treasure carried by King Molten in the World Gap coalition battle. It combines a golden-fire domain, a large protective enclosure, and the mass of an expanding cauldron that King Molten can wield as a direct striking weapon.

History

A borrowed treasure anchors the human defense

Black Sand Grotto-Heaven's Halberd Hall supplies the cauldron for the expedition against Monarch Peacock's coalition. King Molten's late Grotto-Heaven realm and fire lineage let him draw out enough of its power to counter much of Holy Lady Strings's battlefield influence, while its domain helps protect the other human Godfiends. (Chapters 443–445)

King Molten also enlarges the cauldron and smashes it into enemy defenses. Holy Lady Strings's cocoon withstands the combined pressure of the cauldron and King True Martial's attack, showing that the impact is powerful but not irresistible. Against Monarch Peacock, King Molten uses a forbidden spell to pour out his maximum Quintessential Essence and drive the treasure to his bodily limit; the blow crushes Peacock's arm and head but leaves King Molten bleeding and still does not secure a kill. When the battle turns, the cauldron becomes a shelter for King Molten, Thousand Wood, King Calm Sea, and Wang Shan. Its translucent walls keep them protected amid the surrounding attacks. Nothing in the encounter destroys or separates the treasure from King Molten, making that intact defensive use its latest explicit state. (Chapters 448–449)

Abilities and properties

The cauldron releases a golden-fire domain that suppresses hostile techniques and reinforces the human formation. Its compatibility with King Molten's fire cultivation is central to its performance; the treasure amplifies his power but does not independently fight without a wielder supplying Quintessential Essence and control. (Chapters 443–445)

It can expand into a massive physical weapon or an enclosure large enough to shelter several companions. As a striking cauldron it delivers tremendous blunt force, while as a shelter its walls provide a concentrated defensive layer. This lets King Molten switch between area control, offense, and team protection during the same battle. (Chapters 445–449)

Its output is limited by both the wielder and the opposing treasure. Reaching maximum force requires King Molten to use a forbidden spell and overdraw his Quintessential Essence, injuring himself, while the Nine Lives Cocoon survives a direct combined assault. The cauldron is therefore a versatile high-level treasure rather than an automatic answer to equivalent Tribulation defenses. (Chapters 446–447)
