Aphrodisiac Pill

The Aphrodisiac Pill is a red medicinal pill invented and named by Bai Xiaochun after an accidental batch drives a phoenix into indiscriminate sexual behavior. Swallowed whole, dispersed as powder, or released as smoke, it first overwhelms the body and then impairs mental control, producing sexual compulsion and loss of reason in animals and people. Because the effect chemically overrides agency, conduct produced under it does not demonstrate meaningful consent; the corpus includes numerous administrations made without the subject's knowledge or permission. History

Accidental discovery and named formula

While attempting to make Violet Qi Spirit Ascension Pills, Bai uses too much superagate flower pollen and produces anomalous red pills. A male phoenix seizes one before his intended animal test can begin and is driven to pursue birds indiscriminately, behavior the narration distinguishes from its true desires. Bai reconstructs the error, decides to improve it, and in Chapter 74 names the red preparation the Aphrodisiac Pill. He separately names a white complementary medicine the Pheromone Pill; the two formulas and effects are related in Bai's experiments but are not the same item. (Chapters 73–74)

Bai first uses the named pill in battle against Beihan Lie and then threatens other north-bank disciples with it until many concede. When one explodes into ash over the contest, an affected battle beast loses control. The north-bank leadership determines that the pill works even on beasts with first-order bloodlines and has Bai disclose the formula under sealed conditions. He later receives the Protomagnetic Pearl in exchange for that formula. (Chapters 89–101 and 178)

Escalation into a battlefield agent

Early large-area use throws the beasts of the Wildweed Mountains into chaos. Bai later creates a superior-grade Super Aphrodisiac Pill to stimulate exhausted life essence, showing that he can intensify the base preparation. At the Great Wall, he develops a much larger-scale version from thousands of high-grade ingredient sets, repeated purification, selected spirit enhancements, and elements of his Fantasy Pill formula. Beasts that swallow pill furnaces become sources of pink smoke, which strips nearby beasts and savage giants of reason but does not affect vengeful souls. (Chapters 102–134 and 485–486)

The Great Wall deployment succeeds partly through surprise. Savage giants who anticipate it can protect themselves in multiple ways, so the pill is not universally irresistible. Its battlefield effect nonetheless becomes notorious because it turns living combatants into uncontrolled vectors and disrupts formations without distinguishing willing from unwilling subjects. Forced administration and impaired consent

In the Wildlands, Bai repeatedly administers the pill coercively. He shoves one down Zhou Yixing's throat, forces pills into powerless prisoners including Old Devil Zhou and a Cai Clan elder, and sends crushed powder into Lu Shiyou's nose and mouth. Lu later voluntarily accepts another pill as a promised reward, but that later choice does not retroactively make the first exposure consensual. Bai also places a pill into the Giant Ghost King's mouth while claiming it is part of a rescue. (Chapters 568, 626, 639, 643–644, and 662)

Bai and Mistress Red-Dust are accidentally exposed when the pill breaks between them. Both suffer dizziness and intense bodily heat, and Bai is dragged back into the surrounding mist while affected; afterward he calls his first personal exposure terrifying. Song Junwan and Hou Xiaomei later deliberately crush pills in private encounters with Bai. Although those passages are framed comedically and relationships exist outside the exposures, the drug's established impairment means the resulting sexualized conduct cannot itself establish informed consent. Bai also markets the pill as a way for a woman to secure a man “forever,” then warns her not to break it in public. That sale, later mass use against the Dark Concocters, and threats against even very powerful cultivators show that the pill remains both a commodity and an instrument of chemical coercion. In the final era, Xiaobao has mastered and improved the formula, while Bai still considers using a pill in the epilogue. (Chapters 959, 1121–1122, 1312–1315)

Abilities and properties

• Physical and mental compulsion: Exposure produces heat and physical drive before eroding mental control and reason. Its subjects can act against their ordinary desires, so behavior while affected is chemically compelled rather than reliable evidence of consent. (Chapters 73–74, 485–486, 853–854, and 909)

• Multiple delivery routes: A pill can be swallowed, forced into the mouth, crushed into inhalable powder, detonated into ash, or distributed as smoke from a larger preparation. The source does not give a standard dose or duration applicable to every form. (Chapters 89–94, 485–486, 568–643, and 853)

• Broad living targets: Demonstrated subjects include ordinary birds, battle beasts, first-order bloodline beasts, savage giants, and human cultivators of both sexes. Vengeful souls are specifically unaffected by the pink smoke. (Chapters 73–101 and 485–486)

• Enhanced variants: Threefold spirit enhancement is applied to early pills; the Super Aphrodisiac Pill is a superior-grade refinement; and the Great Wall preparation combines highly purified materials with Fantasy Pill elements. These are progressive variants rather than proof that every pill has identical strength. (Chapters 74, 134, and 485–486)

• Resistance and proposed counters: Prepared savage giants can shield themselves, and surprise is important to the famous Great Wall success. Bai later develops or offers neutralizing preparations, including the Uncaring Pill, but the corpus does not establish a universal antidote that reliably reverses every variant after exposure.
