Second Prince
The Second Prince is an Arch-Emperor imperial prince who joins the contest in the Necromancer Kettle and later participates in court opposition to Bai Xiaochun. (Chapters 688–776)
Biography
Necromancer Kettle and Court Defeat
The second prince enters the Necromancer Kettle resenting both the Grand Heavenmaster's control over an imperial pocket realm and the four heavenly kings' power. He pursues Bai Xiaochun with the other chosen, then leads survivors toward Gongsun Yi rather than concede the contest. Bai's success leaves him missing for a time, but he later returns to court. There he and the grand prince support schemes against Bai, expecting imperial rank to offer protection. The Grand Heavenmaster's intervention instead forces the assembled princes to submit publicly and exposes how little independent power their titles carry against him. By the end of the confrontation, the second prince is alive but humiliated and afraid, with his plots neutralized. (Chapters 688–705 and 741–776)
Appearance and personality
The corpus gives no stable physical description. He is proud of imperial privilege, politically resentful of the Grand Heavenmaster, and willing to pursue rivals through group action and secret schemes. Once confronted by overwhelming authority, that confidence gives way to visible alarm and submission. (Chapters 689–691 and 774–776)
Abilities and cultivation
The second prince participates among the Wildlands' Nascent Soul chosen and survives the Necromancer Kettle, but the corpus does not isolate a named technique, personal weapon, cultivation stage within that realm, or individual victory. His demonstrated strengths are political status and command over a group rather than a mechanically described combat specialty. (Chapters 689–705)
