Reverend Devourer
Reverend Devourer is a Vile-Emperor Dynasty celestial who governs a stable immortal domain from Megarock City. His brief arc chiefly demonstrates the widening gulf between established celestials and Bai Xiaochun's later power. (Chapters 1081, 1160, and 1201–1220)
Biography
Governor, captive, and released celestial
Reverend Devourer first appears among the Vile-Emperor Dynasty's celestial powers and later rules one of its two stable immortal domains. When Bai enters Megarock City, Devourer is the only person capable of detecting his presence. He identifies Bai's divine sense and attacks with shadowy fiends, but Bai crushes the manifestations and captures him with a single enormous hand. The victory occupies the city and turns Devourer into a political hostage rather than killing him. (Chapters 1081, 1160, and 1201–1203)
The Vile-Emperor later demands the return of Devourer and Prince Ur-Demon. Bai releases both, bedraggled but alive, during the resulting settlement. Devourer subsequently sends Bai a costly congratulatory gift despite their earlier conflict. No later office, combat, or cultivation breakthrough is documented. (Chapters 1211–1220)
Appearance and personality
No stable physical description is supplied. Devourer is vigilant within his domain, hostile to intrusion, and pragmatic enough to participate in formal diplomacy after his release. The sparse evidence does not support a fuller personal portrait. (Chapters 1201–1220)
Abilities and cultivation
As a celestial, Devourer can project divine sense across Megarock City and summon multiple shadowy fiends. Bai's later cultivation overwhelms both the manifestations and Devourer himself, so the defeat does not define the celestial's absolute strength against peers. (Chapters 1201–1203)

- Vile-Emperor: Sovereign who demands Devourer's return. (Chapter 1211)
