Liu Li

Liu Li is a late-Core-Formation Skin Flayer who becomes one of Bai Xiaochun's strongest immediate subordinates and serves for years in his personal guard. (Chapters 481–528)

Biography

Service under Bai Xiaochun

Liu Li joins Bai Xiaochun's squad with Zhao Long as one of the two strongest cultivators directly beneath him. Her role combines disciplined protection with support for his unconventional military work: she helps establish circles of pill furnaces, stands guard during his seclusion, and joins the battalion in large-scale pill production. Bai's volatile concoctions repeatedly shock or frighten her, but she remains at her post and accepts the equipment he distributes before battle. Years of service make that loyalty personal as well as formal. When Bai returns as a major general, Liu is the first guard to reach and salute him, responds coldly when Song Que's group challenges his standing, and travels at his flank in a formation arranged for his protection. Her quiet act of massaging his shoulders when he is exhausted contrasts with her usual icy demeanor and shows a familiar, caretaking side not extended generally. (Chapters 481–491, 505–506, and 527–528)

Appearance and personality

Liu Li is young-faced and pretty, with phoenix-like eyes and a buxom figure. Her armor is tailored to appear both attractive and heroic. She normally has a cold, icy demeanor and reacts sharply to disrespect toward her commander, but she is attentive to Bai Xiaochun's exhaustion and offers practical comfort without hesitation. No later appearance, injury, or change in temperament is supplied. (Chapters 481 and 527–528)

Abilities and cultivation

Liu Li is explicitly in late Core Formation during her initial service and is strong enough, together with Zhao Long and Bai, to make their small command formidable by Middle Reaches standards. She contributes to guarded pill-concocting operations, coordinated flight, and the murderous pressure projected by veteran troops. The corpus does not name a personal technique, weapon, cultivation scripture, combat feat, or later realm. (Chapters 481–491 and 527–528)
