Biography
From Sect Negotiations to River-Defying Defense
Li Zimo participates in the Spirit Stream Sect's negotiations with the Blood Stream Sect and asks whether the elders should restrain the Song Clan patriarch after talks collapse. The founding patriarch's answer—that a fighting death is preferable to slow decline—leaves Li silently accepting the sect's chosen path. He then leads the first deployment of roughly two thousand cultivators to the Luochen Mountains and confronts Patriarch Limitless during the attempted inter-sect war. After Bai Xiaochun prevents that conflict and the Lower Reaches sects unite, Li continues as a River-Defying patriarch. His concern for Bai and the sect is practical: he reacts anxiously when a powerful toad threatens the junior patriarch, advises Bai from ancient records, and leaves secluded meditation to protect Bruiser's Core Formation tribulation. When a flying snake beast king intrudes, Li immediately attacks, addresses it as a peer, and pursues it from the scene, placing the sect's champion beast above his own retreat. (Chapters 214–218, 268–326, and 355–357)
Appearance and personality
The corpus does not provide Li Zimo's age, facial features, clothing, or build. He is deliberate in council, capable of regret, and willing to ask whether violence can still be prevented, but he accepts collective decisions and acts decisively once the sect commits. His concern for Bai and Bruiser is explicit, while his later personality and fate are not supplied. (Chapters 214–218, 279, and 321–357)
Abilities and cultivation
Li Zimo is a Nascent Soul patriarch. He can lead large-scale teleportation, oppose another patriarch in battle, release his Nascent Soul aura, and summon a gale powerful enough to strike at a flying beast king. The source does not name his cultivation scripture, techniques, Nascent Soul substage, limitations, or later progression. His consultation on beast tribulation also demonstrates knowledge of sect records rather than a distinct supernatural ability. (Chapters 268–279 and 355–357)
