Li Yuansheng

Li Yuansheng is an arrogant Starry Quarter clan chosen whose repeated use of family power against Bai Xiaochun and his friends ends with his cultivation being crippled by his own grandfather. (Chapters 401–440 and 883–907)

Biography

Sky City Privilege and Final Revenge

Li Yuansheng first intervenes in the Celestial Sky Society's conflict with Bai because his clan status and rapid Core Formation progress make him confident that local cultivators must submit. Bai defeats him and his companions, undermining both his threat and the society's aristocratic backing. Li waits until Bai is missing before seeking revenge. He seizes Bai's Sky City inn, uses clan influence to frame Big Fatty Zhang and Xu Baocai, and persuades his grandfather Li Xiandao and a Nascent Soul elder to have them arrested. Bai's return makes that calculation catastrophic. To settle the debt and protect the clan, Li Xiandao cripples Li Yuansheng's cultivation and imprisons him in the same jail used for Bai's friends. Appearance and personality

Li is a young man whose arrogant expression matches his high clan position. He is status-conscious, vindictive, and willing to wait for an opponent's absence before acting through institutional power. Confidence leaves him when direct resistance proves ineffective, but resentment persists long enough to motivate the later plot. (Chapters 401–403 and 905–907)

Abilities and cultivation

Li reaches Core Formation in under a century and can project substantial pressure while fighting with other clan elites. The corpus does not name his personal technique or isolate his exact stage.
