Li Xiandao
Li Xiandao is the Starry Quarter patriarch, grandfather of Li Yuansheng, and ultimate patron of the Celestial Sky Society. He is a deva whose attempt to pressure Bai Xiaochun leaves him wary of Bai's strength and medicine. (Chapters 883–942)
Biography
Patriarch, opponent, and cautious conciliator
Li's institutional influence enters through his grandson and the Celestial Sky Society, but he appears directly during the River-Defying Sect crisis as one of the devas whose decisions threaten Bai's home sect. After the confrontation he retreats into seclusion, aware that Bai has become a dangerous adversary. When Bai returns to the Starry Sky Dao Polarity Sect, Li approaches with Bai Zhentian and Patriarch Steel Veins, flatters Bai's medicine skill, and cautiously shares a table with him while fearing the disasters he might unleash. (Chapters 883–916)
Li's approach becomes a model for resolving demands without direct confrontation: later, Bai explicitly invokes the “Li Xiandao method” when accepting restitution from Master Cloud Lightning and then expanding his claims. Li is alive at his last direct appearance; the corpus does not state his role after the Heavenspan war. (Chapters 916 and 942)
Appearance and personality
The corpus gives no stable detailed appearance. Li is politically connected, calculating, outwardly smooth, and deeply cautious once he recognizes that force could provoke a far worse response from Bai. (Chapters 883–916)
Abilities and cultivation
Li is a Deva Realm patriarch and an institutional power in Starry Quarter. No named signature technique is demonstrated in the selected evidence, and later comparison places Master Cloud Lightning above him in direct power. (Chapters 883, 913, and 933)
Relationships
- Bai Xiaochun: Former target and later feared peer whom Li placates rather than openly challenges. (Chapters 883–916)
- Bai Zhentian: Fellow deva who shares Li's nervous calculations around Bai. (Chapters 911–916)
