Heretic
Heretic is the second-ranked Starry Sky Dao Polarity Sect superstar, an arrogant battle enthusiast who later clashes with Master God-Diviner over a valuable soul in the Wildlands. (Chapters 417–532 and 925–927)
Biography
Superstar and Wildlands Combatant
Heretic begins as one of the sect's top three superstars, confident enough to respond to Bai Xiaochun's rise with cold arrogance rather than admiration. In the Wildlands he competes with Master God-Diviner for a soul and spends a costly trump card trying to seize it, turning the dispute into a potentially lethal chase. Bai intervenes because Master God-Diviner is under his protection. Faced with Bai's authority and the Great Wall's need for fighters, Heretic's determination and obvious hunger for battle lead Bai to redirect rather than simply destroy him. He remains among Bai's broader allies during later crises, though his final appearances place him and the others in danger without resolving his survival. (Chapters 417–441, 530–532, and 925–927)
Appearance and personality
The corpus gives no detailed physical description. Heretic is openly arrogant, competitive over valuable resources, and intensely passionate about battle; the prospect of combat makes his eyes burn and his blood rise even after a confrontation with Bai. Later personal development is only sparsely shown. (Chapters 437–441 and 530–532)
Abilities and cultivation
Heretic's principal demonstrated technique forms a huge palm whose force tugs directly at the soul. It is a trump card with significant spiritual-power cost, so he does not use it casually. The corpus does not state his cultivation realm at that scene, explain the palm's full effect on a struck target, or document later progression. (Chapters 530–532)
