Chen Yueshan

Chen Yueshan is the third-ranked Starry Sky Dao Polarity Superstar, daughter of Chen Hetian, and Daoist partner of Zhao Tianjiao. She is a powerful Chosen whose loyalty to Zhao and Bai Xiaochun ultimately places her in opposition to her father's decisions. (Chapters 417–474, 520–562, and 876–902)

Biography

Voyage, partnership, and divided loyalties

Chen boards the Great Wall expedition as one of the sect's top three Superstars. During the shipboard attacks she responds immediately when Zhao is endangered, striking with physical force and a moonlight art. Their mutual affection becomes explicit after years of reserve, and she continues with him beyond the Great Wall. The pair spend years fighting in the Wildlands, become the only survivors of their original team, and endure the ghostly labyrinth after Chen Hetian sends them to investigate it. By Bai's return, Chen is publicly Zhao's Daoist partner. She joins him in begging Chen Hetian not to move against the River-Defying Sect, then flies beside Zhao when he chooses Bai despite her father's refusal. When Bai later confronts Chen Hetian, Chen and Zhao rush over anxiously, caught between a friend on one side and her father and Zhao's master on the other. She remains alive at her last appearance. Appearance and personality

Chen has long hair and is repeatedly associated with flame-like speed and passionate eyes. She is composed in public, affectionate but initially reserved with Zhao, and decisive when those she values are threatened. (Chapters 437–456)

Abilities and cultivation

Her Superstar rank places her among the strongest Core Formation Chosen of her generation. She can gather moonlight into the image of a full moon while launching a powerful fist strike. The corpus does not provide a full cultivation lineage or confirm her later stage. (Chapters 437–456)
