Virata Lute

The Virata Lute is a silver spatial-law treasure recovered by Shi Chuankong from the collapsing True Mantra ruins. Its status as a royal inheritance symbol intensifies the danger around him, while its practical abilities repeatedly preserve the traveling group.

History

The lute rests beside the Miro Dhvaja and a golden time plate as one of three paramount-law treasures. When the ruin collapses, Shi Chuankong risks entering a huge spatial rift to seize it. He later uses it in the Gray and Devil realms, and possession contributes to his eldest half-brother’s belief that Shi has become a succession rival. (Chapters 3141–3150, 3195, 3250, 3260)

Properties and use

Strumming the lute can bind surrounding space, release invisible waves or silver crescent wind blades, conceal movement, and open opportunities for escape. Forced use produces severe backlash, including blood loss, so Shi cannot treat its strongest spatial effects as cost-free or continuous. (Chapters 3150, 3195, 3260–3261, 3746)
