Heaven Controlling Vial

The Heaven Controlling Vial is the small green bottle that Han Li discovers as a child and protects throughout his cultivation journey. Its first known function is the production of green liquid under night light, allowing medicinal plants to mature at extraordinary speed; its later relationship with time becomes central to the final struggle.

History

Han Li tests the bottle in secret, builds his alchemy around its plant-maturing liquid, and carries it across every realm. Ma Liang eventually identifies it by name, while the returning vial spirit reveals that the object has an independent history bound to the Time Great Dao. Gu Huojin briefly seizes it during the Heavenly Court war, but Han Li recovers control and uses it in the final confrontation. (Chapters 10–14, 1257, 2406, 2430–2440, 3839–3847)

Properties and use

The vial condenses a green liquid that accelerates plant growth, later forms time crystals, enables encounters across time, and supports accelerated cultivation through a Celestial Time Array. It is ultimately described as the first Profound Heavenly Item, born with the Heavenly Dao and containing all laws with residual chaos. Han Li pours his Dao Ancestor power into it to escape assimilation, exceeding the vessel’s limit and ending its ordinary existence. (Chapters 12–14, 2726–2735, 3060–3063, 3601–3649, 3839–3847)
