Liu Le'er

Liu Le'er is a young fox cultivator who finds the injured and unresponsive Han Li after his disastrous arrival in the Immortal Realm. She names him Liu Shi and affectionately calls him Brother Rock, caring for him before she understands his identity or power. Han's protection helps her enter cultivation and the Heavenly Fox lineage, while her uncomplicated trust gives him his first stable personal bond after memory loss. Biography

Brother Rock and the wounded ascendant

Liu Le'er encounters Han while fleeing the destruction that has already taken her family and fellow Cloud Foxes. Although the silent stranger frightens her, she recognizes that he protects her from human pursuers and gives him the name Liu Shi, addressing him as Brother Rock. She seeks food, shelter, and treatment for him even when others regard his condition as hopeless. Her persistence makes her the active caretaker at the beginning of their bond rather than merely the helpless child Han later defends. (Chapters 2458–2466)

When Han's memories return, he heals Liu Le'er's wounds and accepts the sibling relationship she has already created. He shields her from cultivators and physical threats while still severely weakened, asks for her wishes before joining the Cold Flame Sect's party, and brings her to a place where she can begin cultivating. Liu Le'er responds with absolute confidence in him, but also with empathy for other survivors such as Yu Qi. Vengeance and the Heavenly Fox inheritance

Cultivation quickly gives Liu Le'er the means to confront Jia Ren, the cultivator involved in the slaughter of her Cloud Fox kin. She reaches Core Formation within a few years and attacks him with a silver fire raven, refusing to let the sale of her people's pelts go unanswered. The encounter does not erase her dependence on Han's broader protection, but it marks an important change: the frightened child who once hid behind Brother Rock is now willing to identify an enemy and personally pursue justice. A silver seal associated with Liu Le'er's bloodline draws the attention of the Heavenly Fox lineage. Entering that lineage separates her from Han but gives her access to a heritage, teachers, and cultivation path suited to her nature. Han accepts the separation because it offers her a future he cannot securely provide while investigating his own damaged ascension. Liu Le'er's development therefore comes from both parts of the relationship: his guardianship makes survival possible, while leaving his side allows her to become more than a permanent dependent. When Liu Le'er and Han meet again among the primordial tribes, she immediately recognizes him as Brother Rock despite his altered status and long absence. By then she has newly reached High Zenith and is treated as an important Heavenly Fox figure, yet the reunion restores the same emotional language as their first journey. She worries over his safety, explains the structure and customs of the primordial tribes, and helps him navigate a political world in which bloodline inheritance determines access and standing. Liu Le'er participates in the Heavenly Fox blood inheritance ceremony alongside the other major primordial heirs, assuming her true form and passing through the Asura Blood Gate. The ceremony places her personal advancement within a collective responsibility to her tribe. She remains concerned about whether Han will be permitted to follow, but she does not abandon her own trial to remain beside him. Repaying protection and choosing equality

Liu Le'er later visits Han while he is struggling with a corpse-soul bottleneck. She notices the ill intent affecting him and, after learning that he lacks a suitable severance method, gives him a copy of the Avatar Corpse Soul Severance Technique bestowed on her by Chief Liu Qing. The gift directly reverses their earliest roles: the person Han once guided into cultivation now brings the inheritance he needs to survive a crisis on his own path. During the final conflict, Liu Le'er stands with the primordial forces rather than remaining under Han's immediate protection. These techniques are useful for survival and misdirection, but the local story gives more evidence for her bloodline position and formal advancement than for the detailed mechanics of individual attacks, so their full range and limitations remain unstated. Liu Le'er grows into a guide who can explain primordial tribal ranks, bloodline customs, and the operation of the holy mountain's inheritance rites.
