Goblin's Kindness

Goblin's Kindness is a clear-blue, High-grade potion created by Kim Sae-Jin in his Goblin form. Its combined healing, tissue-regeneration, and blood-restoration effects save a mortally wounded Knight and later establish Sae-Jin's anonymous alchemical career through Hazeline and the Yoseon Alchemy House.

History

Emergency creation and naming

Sae-Jin first compounds the potion after finding Kim Yu-Rin with an abdominal wound severe enough to expose her internal organs. His Goblin knowledge identifies dream-inducing grass, jejeung liquid, scorpion grass, and a low-grade Mana Stone as the necessary materials. He divides and grinds the ingredients, then adds the Mana Stone; contact with the herbal mixture liquefies the stone into a clear-blue medicine. Applied to the wound and administered orally, it closes deep injury, regenerates exposed tissue, restores color to Yu-Rin's bloodless complexion, and later suppresses her remaining pain. The successful aid clears the condition named “A Goblin's Kindness,” from which the commercial potion takes its name. (Chapters 4–5)

Using the Sabretooth Tiger fang Yu-Rin gives him, Sae-Jin brews three more healing-and-regeneration batches for sale. The fang functions both as a Mana Stone and an alchemical ingredient, while his Elite Goblin knowledge permits exceptionally precise compounding. At Yoseon, he registers the formula anonymously and submits three drops for verification. Hazeline recognizes its clarity and dual effects as at least mid grade and potentially High grade before formal testing, and identifies it as too accomplished for an ordinary novice product. Verification and commercialization

Sae-Jin's finished version requires about seven days, most of which is unavoidable fermentation. He brings four bottles to Hazeline, who negotiates private commissions while preserving the legal requirement that half the available stock enter the open market. The Central Alchemist Association grants a sales permit, confirms perfect healing and regenerative properties, and assigns the potion High grade. Yoseon registers the Goblin name as a protected series, announces an auction, and lists the forty-millilitre bottles at roughly $350,000 amid a long shortage of high-level regenerative medicine; even before release, it is selected as a candidate treatment for a severe paralytic injury requiring at least an upper Mid-grade potion. The potion's scarcity makes it both medical security and working capital. Sae-Jin uses later bottles made from the remaining fang to reduce his debt to Hazeline, while the success of Goblin's Kindness brings customers to Yoseon and creates demand for every potion carrying the Goblin brand. Lower-grade recovery products are eventually sold at ceiling prices rather than auctioned, but the original Kindness remains the flagship formula whose reputation enables the broader series. • Healing and regeneration: The potion heals both surface and deep wounds and regenerates severely damaged tissue. Its first use repairs an open abdominal injury and replenishes lost blood, while an additional dose reduces pain as healing continues.
