Documented arc

Yun Xia arrives in Dong Fu with a group of visiting experts investigating the daytime stars and possible yaomo activity. She recognizes the value of a yin bead brought to her and knows the method for turning such beads into Yin Thunder Beads, prompting a search of the local market. (Chapters 69–71)

As the investigation stalls, Yun Xia recognizes that the group lacks a sufficiently strong leader and comforts Yuan Li over the danger facing his sect's inheritance. When hidden enemies ambush the investigators, Yuan Li is killed and Yun Xia escapes by using a Yin Thunder Bead. (Chapters 71–75)

The attackers subsequently pursue the bead-making knowledge associated with her, but the source does not show Yun Xia again or state her destination after the escape. The method is not unique to her, despite the enemies' interest in it. (Chapters 76–78)

Appearance and personality

She is a beautiful, graceful matron with clear eyes and white teeth, usually accompanied by a small light-yellow bird. Yun Xia remains composed while evaluating the investigation and is sympathetic to Yuan Li's fears, but the short arc provides little direct interior evidence beyond her caution and concern. Abilities and cultivation

Yun Xia can identify yin beads and knows how to forge Yin Thunder Beads. She uses one to escape a lethal ambush, demonstrating their practical defensive value, and explicitly identifies herself as a jindan. Relationships
