Wei Cheng Bin was a Little Mountain Jie ningmai cultivator whose talent lay in exquisite illusory and mirage formations rather than combat. After his sect treated that specialty as wasted talent, he survived by accounting, cleaning, and hard labor for ling grain until a recruitment scroll offering meaningful formation work prompted him to walk away from the storekeeper's contempt. The recruitment proved coercive: Lei Peng frightened Wei, knocked him unconscious, and sent him with other specialists toward Zuo Mo's camp. During the guarded journey, Wei's fear turned to anticipation as he observed the troop's discipline and swift victory, because its strength suggested that the unknown employer could protect valuable but combat-weak production cultivators. Wei Cheng Bin helped build Golden Crow City and was moved nearly to tears when its warmth, formation towers, and security replaced Little Mountain Jie's caves and scarcity. Under Ji Wei and Sun Bao, his small-parts forging improved rapidly; he embraced Golden Crow Camp's shared teachings, contributed to its work with black fiendish energy, and joined its collective production culture. Years later, Wei Cheng Bin had become a composed core member of Golden Crow Camp and a grandmaster-level specialist in miniature jinzhi, seal formations, and mo matrices. He received Zuo Mo's secret reflections through the Ten Finger Prison, organized them onto high-grade jade scrolls, and immediately summoned the camp's masters when Zuo requested an exceptionally powerful large-scale jinzhi. Appearance and personality

Wei Cheng Bin begins as a wary, easily frightened young man who stammers before fighters and knows his combat limitations. He is nevertheless observant, cautious, intellectually curious, and willing to leave mere subsistence for meaningful work. Security, instruction, and trust gradually make him composed, methodical, loyal, and confident in his technical expertise.

Abilities and cultivation

Wei Cheng Bin reaches ningmai through insight gained while studying illusory formations, but his direct combat ability is very low. His early specialties are mirage formations and delicate small components; Golden Crow Camp later develops these into grandmaster-level miniature jinzhi, seal-formation, mo-matrix, and forging skill. Much of his greatest work is collaborative, and the source does not assign the entire Crimson Fiend Cauldron or Golden Crow Camp's large formations to him alone.
