Feng Xin Zi

Feng Xin Zi is a leading genius of the younger yao generation, rising from the Genius Alliance to command a Yao Council envoy and become Ming Yue Ye's strongest subordinate. His friendly public manner conceals caution and political calculation, while his devotion to Ming Yue Ye drives both his shen-power breakthrough and his final opposition to Zuo Mo.

Biography

Reconstructing the third prison

Feng Xin Zi enters the story after reconstructing the Ten Finger Prison's third prison as Wind Song, a feat substantially harder than altering the first prison. The achievement silences criticism of the Genius Alliance, advances him from high supervisor to its Elder Council, and draws repeated praise from alliance leader Ming Yue Ye. He receives the promotion without boasting, patiently bids farewell to former colleagues, and leaves for the main division with his childhood follower Xiao Jin. This early success establishes the combination that defines his career: rare technical talent presented through disciplined humility. (Chapters 378–379)

Hunting Xiao Mo Ge in the mo territories

Years later Feng Xin Zi leads the guards attached to the yao delegation searching for Xiao Mo Ge. Although Ji Li Yu is the envoy's public leader, Pu Yao correctly identifies Feng Xin Zi as its true operational commander. He intervenes to prevent a fight, suspects that the disguised Zuo Mo may be Xiao Mo Ge, and investigates rather than forcing a premature confrontation in foreign territory. Because Xiao Yun Hai's sudden skill as a mo-weapon grandmaster complicates the evidence, Feng Xin Zi uses Qinghua Xue's access to observe him and reports his uncertainty to Ming Yue Ye instead of pretending the disguise has been solved. His handling of Qinghua Xue combines recognition with manipulation. Feng Xin Zi sees that her branch family underestimated her, prevents her dispute from endangering the envoy, and assigns her to assist Xiao Yun Hai because that serves his investigation. When he later asks for information about the Angel Device Raiment, he offers advancement for her family and access to her brother's complete art, but accepts her refusal to harm the grandmaster and warns her to stay safe. He thus treats subordinates as political resources while remaining capable of revising a poor judgment and negotiating a boundary. (Chapters 703–705, 712, 717–719)

The King's Forbidden City breakthrough

At the Angel Device Raiment auction, Feng Xin Zi attacks after Zuo Mo insults Ming Yue Ye. He reveals shen power through a field of white hyacinth petals, but the King's Forbidden City's rainbow mist pins him in place while repeated yin-fire shen beads destroy his flower net and cause serious internal injuries. When Black Blunting Smoke weakens the restraints, seeing Ming Yue Ye afraid transforms his self-blame into a violent breakthrough. His shen power rises several levels and becomes exceptionally detailed, deepening his understanding even though he still cannot reverse the wider defeat. Ming Yue Ye returns with both him and Elder Ye strengthened by the encounter. (Chapters 738–744)

Death at the yao council meeting

By the final war Feng Xin Zi is Ming Yue Ye's strongest expert and a pseudo god-level cultivator. When Zuo Mo enters a yao council meeting under the identity of the Nether King, Feng Xin Zi raises shen power to defend the room, but a single god-level gaze freezes his technique. A second attacker appears behind him while Zuo Mo restrains him from the front, and he is beheaded before he can break free. His death demonstrates the boundary the text states directly: even an elite pseudo god-level cannot bridge the gap to a true god-level opponent, especially while attacked by another pseudo god-level expert. Appearance and personality

Feng Xin Zi is a handsome young man with tasteful clothes, a sunny aura, and a friendly smile that readily attracts admiration. Zuo Mo nevertheless senses cold cruelty hidden beneath that warmth, comparing it to a snake coiled in darkness. During his breakthrough, the composed face twists under pain and self-blame. He is courteous, observant, politically adept, and capable of hiding both displeasure and strength. He acknowledges mistaken judgments and values composure, yet privately dismisses Ji Li Yu's intelligence and uses Qinghua Xue as an investigative piece. His most emotionally unguarded trait is devotion to Ming Yue Ye, whom he regards as the person he has sworn to protect. (Chapters 695, 703–705, 719, 740–743)

Abilities and cultivation

Reconstructing Wind Song proves Feng Xin Zi's mastery of yao arts and the Ten Finger Prison. Before his later breakthrough he is already among the strongest younger yao, can approach silently enough to surprise powerful observers, and dissipates a dangerous confrontation through controlled presence. He also possesses broad orthodox knowledge, recognizing an earth mo weapon's formation and reading unfamiliar power with unusual accuracy. (Chapters 378–379, 692–703)

Feng Xin Zi is one of the Yao Council's secret early shen-power researchers. His power manifests as snowy-white hyacinths and a compressed flower-net field that excludes hostile energy. The King's Forbidden City limits his movement and lets slow projectiles strike, revealing his vulnerability to environmental control; after his emotional breakthrough, his shen power becomes stronger and exceptionally refined. He eventually reaches pseudo god level, but true god-level pressure can freeze him before he executes a technique. (Chapters 740–744, 912)

Relationships

Ming Yue Ye

Ming Yue Ye recognizes Feng Xin Zi's potential, promotes his work, and entrusts him with the envoy. He willingly serves her, treats her as the unrivalled figure at the center of his loyalty, and breaks through when he believes he has failed to protect her. She in turn counts his improved shen-power understanding as a major gain for her political camp. (Chapters 378, 705, 740–744, 912)

Qinghua Xue and Ji Li Yu

Qinghua Xue is Feng Xin Zi's subordinate and an underestimated talent whom he positions near Xiao Yun Hai. He respects her composure even while trying to use her access. Ji Li Yu is the envoy's nominal leader, but Feng Xin Zi privately finds her pride and temper strategically limiting; their cooperation is functional rather than trusting. Zuo Mo

Feng Xin Zi first investigates Zuo Mo through the separate identities Xiao Yun Hai and Xiao Mo Ge, correctly sensing a connection without proving it. Open hostility begins when he defends Ming Yue Ye at the auction. That conflict produces his greatest breakthrough but ends years later when the god-level Zuo Mo helps kill him during the council seizure. (Chapters 692–705, 738–744, 912)

Items

Feng Xin Zi has no confirmed personal notable item. His hyacinth flower net is a shen-power field rather than a carried net. He seeks information about the Angel Device Raiment for the Yao Council, but the raiment remains Zuo Mo's creation and never enters Feng Xin Zi's custody. (Chapters 717–719, 738–744)
