Documented arc

Patriarch Ji Heng dispatches A Heng to retrieve the Ji Family's young master and kill the person who humiliated him. A Heng reaches the group with startling speed, but his confrontation with Zuo Mo is interrupted by Feng Xin Zi. Recognizing that he cannot defeat Feng Xin Zi, he accepts the de-escalation and remains with the young master. (Chapters 690–692)

He later stops the young master from attacking a Tang Family guest and studies the alliance forming around Gongzi Xi and Marshal Di. The Ji Family then orders him to disrupt that alliance and assassinate Xiao Yun Hai, a mission he recognizes as nearly impossible. (Chapters 698, 706)

Zuo Mo secretly leaves Tian Huan material where A Heng will find it. A Heng detects that someone entered without his noticing and understands that the intruder could have killed him, but he also sees political value in the evidence and begins planning how to use it. The source ends his arc there without resolving the mission. (Chapter 706)

Appearance and personality

A Heng is short, thin, and dark-skinned, with bristly cropped hair and short clothing that makes him look like a manual laborer rather than an expert. He is feared within the Ji Family. His conduct is controlled and politically alert: he withdraws from an unwinnable confrontation, restrains the young master, and rapidly recognizes leverage in planted evidence. (Chapters 691–706)

Abilities and cultivation

He moves with lightning speed and can divide his body into six grey copies or shadows through his mo physique. Zuo Mo destroys or restrains these copies, and Feng Xin Zi's arrival makes A Heng admit that he cannot win. He also has sharp situational awareness, though Zuo Mo's covert entry exposes a clear limit to it. The source does not name his mo physique or exact realm. (Chapters 691–692, 706)

Relationships

Ji Heng is the patriarch who sends him, while the unnamed Ji young master is his charge. Feng Xin Zi is the expert whose intervention ends his first confrontation with Zuo Mo. Gongzi Xi, Marshal Di, and Xiao Yun Hai are subjects or targets of his later political assignment. The “A Heng” addressed in Chapter 566 is Bu Heng and is not this character. (Chapters 690–706)
