Radagast

Radagast is a red-haired Priest of Rectitude who serves as one of the Church's earliest visible representatives in Lanthanor. He alternates between recruitment, intelligence work, and open intervention, presenting the Church's doctrine of salvation while helping it exploit a kingdom in crisis.

Biography

Recruitment and intervention in Lanthanor

Radagast first approaches Daneel Anivron as a recruiter, explaining the Church's rigid ideals and offering him a place within it. A bargain made through Jonah later prevents Church personnel from directly harming Daneel or his followers, but it does not remove Radagast from Lanthanor's politics. He helps the Church pressure the old king, studies Daneel's supposed master and possible sect ties, and joins the final assault on the capital beside an Archbishop. When Daneel takes the throne, the Church recasts its attack as an answer to popular pleas for salvation, allowing Radagast's intelligence work and armed participation to be absorbed into its public narrative rather than acknowledged as conquest. Appearance and personality

Radagast is distinguished by red hair and the robes and bearing of a Church priest. He is doctrinal and self-assured when recruiting, but observant enough to treat Daneel's hidden backing as a genuine strategic uncertainty. His conduct reflects the Church's characteristic mixture of missionary certainty and political calculation: apparent concern for suffering can become justification for force once the institution decides intervention serves its goals. Abilities and power

Radagast is a combat-capable priest and mage who can travel with the Church's airborne forces and participate in operations supported by formations and a giant magical construct. He also gathers intelligence, judges magical displays, and coordinates with stronger clergy.
