Mirage
History
Damien encounters the blade in the Ancient Temple and names it Mirage after acknowledging the memory of his first sword. The weapon mourns its previous master but accepts Damien, developing into a visible companion whose inherited sword memory compensates for gaps in his technique. Rather than discarding it as his rank rises, Damien repeatedly adapts and reforges Mirage until it can participate in battles governed by Existence and Nonexistence. Properties and use
Mirage amplifies Damien’s spatial attacks, acts through its own awareness, and supplies accumulated sword intent and memory. Its sentience means cooperation matters: it reacts with excitement, fear, grief, and preference rather than behaving like a passive multiplier. Late remaking lets it hold Nonexistence concepts, but those functions do not belong to its original Ancient Temple state.
