Sakamoto

Sakamoto is a Japanese science educator whom Jaehwan first meets as a Walker in the Tower and later encounters again as a professor in the revised First Nightmare.

Biography

The Tower survivor and the revised world

In the Tower, Sakamoto is a middle-school science teacher and member of the advance force who explains parallel-universe theories to the survivors. He eventually uses the Stone of Regression, leaving Jaehwan among those who continue forward. After Jaehwan rewrites the First Nightmare, Professor Sakamoto Seiji teaches popular science and works on Parallel Universes Beside Us. He dreams of a Tower where he dual-wields weapons, gains levels, is called Sakamoto, and meets Manager Hwang—details matching the earlier reality closely enough for Jaehwan to recognize him. Sakamoto later helps revise Jaehwan's own manuscript and remains alive when the reconstructed world reaches its conclusion. (Chapters 1–6, 137, 202, 254, 256, and 259–266)
