Biography

The castle investigation

Sandra joins the task without advertising her precise level in public, then acknowledges Lucien's greater combat record when the team assembles. Inside the castle, she assesses the inactive defensive circle, tests a mirror with her purple staff, and tries to calm a terrified boy rather than forcing the group onward without information. The demon's rapid transformations and illusions repeatedly invalidate appearances, but Sandra protects Susan, resists invading black smoke with electrical defenses, and immediately becomes alert when Lucien suggests that the danger remains. The group's caution allows it to survive the castle's layered deceptions and meet the senior sorcerer who arrives in the corridor.
